Rdio is a social music site that uses a special way to listen and share music. It isn't like regular music site that just listen to the music, it focuses on sharing, person to person. As this way, you have two ways to listen to music, one is to use search bar, another one is to follow other people's tracks. Usually, it plays whole album, not only single song. It also designed accessing for different devices, web, cellphone. Actually, Rdio is a commercial service, subscribed membership from $4.99 to $17.99. This membership can download music. Now, Rdio opens door to everyone, we can register an account, and listen to music for free. But, this free account still limited in some ways, just we don't know how it limited.
