Canvasdropr is a new photo hosting and share site, with a new sharing style, you can create a photo album (it called Canvas here). Just use drag and drop mode to upload your photos. After created canvas, set up sharing option, it allows other people collaborate your canvas. It means other people can upload photos to your canvas if they got permission. You can drag photos in any place on the page, it looks like collages, easy to resize, rotate, edit. You can link video from Youtube, or photo from web sites like Flickr, Picasa, Facebook. I think this is a cool site, very good for people who like share photos with others.

BeeCloud is a reseller of Livedrive, so it uses Livedrive servers to store your file. Livedrive is a commercial web cloud service company, only offers web space to commercial users. For backup your files, you have download and install a client, choose a folder you want to backup in your computer. It'll backup this folder in to web cloud space automatically. I did try, it works. I only worry about how long BeeCloud keep this free service.

Update (03/01/2012): This website is no long offer this web cloud backup service, it ends reselling with Liveddrive. I always worry about this kind of reselling site, you never know how long it keep your files.

Yesterday, I just wrote a news that about Trend Micro will shut down Humyo free account. On the internet, some services down or up, it is normal. We will lose Humyo free online storage soon, but we have another new free web cloud storage service now. If you like a free meal, just register an account with Pogoplug.

Trend Micro Will Shutdown Humyo Finally

One year ago I have written a news here: Humyo Is Part Of Trend Micro. I said, "I do not know what Trend Micro want to do next step" in that time. Yes, we never know what company will be doing anything. Now, the answer is Trend Micro will merge Humyo to SafeSync, Humyo will be shutdown after that.

According to an official mail, it will switch Humyo Free account to a Trend Micro SafeSync 50GB account after 23rd November 2011, this account will keep free until 1st July 2012. After 8 months, no free account anymore.
