Google Voice Merged GrandCentral Phone Service

After almost two years, Google finally made a deal with Grand Central which improve its VOIP phone, voice mail, and SMS service. Now it called Google Voice that is a service and gives you one number for all your phones, voice mail that is easy as email, and many enhanced calling features like call blocking and screening, voice mail transcripts, call conferencing, international calls, and more.

With Google Voice, you can call US phone number for free, and cheap rate for international calling. It is currently available for Grand Central users only, but will be open to new users soon. If you like you can leave your email address and require invitation on this page.



I had try, it seems work fine. The best point I liked that is you can forward phone call to your home phone or cellphone, and hide your real phone number. To get a virtual phone number, you can put it anywhere that you liked, website, public contact list, you do not have to worry about leak your real phone number.

Use Poketalk Call Internation Destination For Free

I had some posts that cover VOIP phone calling service. This time, I like introduce a web service which allows you to use your phone to call domestic and international destination. Poketalk can do this job for you.

It is similar with other famous VOIP service Jajah that I wrote before. You do not have to use microphone with computer, only you have to do is sign in on Poketalk. Fill your own phone number (landline or cellphone), and a destination phone number. It supports many countries, some countries user can use free calling, like US, Denmark, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, UK.



After you click "Call" button, it will connect bother phones, after a while your phone will be ringing, just wait a while to dialing to other phone, then talk to each other. Each calling have 10 minutes for free. I tried this service, it works fine.

Is Magicjack A Magic For VoIP Service

I heard about Magicjack that is a kind of VoIP service before I saw its ads on TV. I did not pay attention to it till my wife told me she wants one. Yes, advertisements always looks better than a real stuff. So I want search Magicjack online to find what this magic stuff is.

Let me tell you what Magicjack is, it is a small USB device which combines internet telephone service. It is simple to use, just plug in that USB device into your computer, and insert your regular telephone jack to this device. You can call US and Canada any regular phone for free (first year), but you need buy this small device that costs $39.95 plus shipping and handling, to purchase an additional year's service for $19.95. Sounds cheap, is it?

But something makes me surprise that cause some people say it is a crap, and some people say that is a very good stuff. Which one is correct? I do not know. I was searching some websites and product reviews, I still could not make decision if I buy it or not. But I knew something:

1, Magicjack works fine. It means you can use it to make phone call. Some people say it works fine and some people say not. That is common, because it need install in your computer, and everyone's computer is different, that depends on your computer condition.

2, Magicjack has very bad help service. Its website does not have any information about address, telephone number, fax number. It only has online helpers (live talking) who behind this website. Even I check BBB (Better Business Bureau) rate it only got F which is a very bad service rate.

I also found some information about this product, but I still do not know if Magicjack is a reliable product or not. If somebody have experience with this product, would you like tell me your opinion?

但有些事让我很惊讶，有些人说它是一个垃圾，而有些人则说它是一个非常不错的产品。到底哪个正确？我搜索了一些网站和一些对该产品的评论，但是我仍然不知道是否值得购买这个产品。不过我得出了一些结论：

1， Magicjack的确能够通过电脑来打电话。有些人说它不怎么好用，而有些人则说它非常不错。这也可以理解，它毕竟要安装在电脑上，每个人的电脑都不一样，这取决于你的电脑状况。

2， Magicjack的售后服务非常差。在它的网站上你看不到任何有关这家公司的信息，没有地址、电话号码、电传号码。唯一的服务是网络在线交谈。我查了一下它在BBB(Better Business Bureau)上的服务评级，只有F级这个属于很差的等级。

我也发现了一些其他有关这个产品的信息，但仍然没有让我下定决心来购买它。如果有谁有这方面的信息或经验的话，是否可以在留言版上交流一下。

Make International Phone Call Local Charge

I often use international call for my family, I use telephone card which is much cheaper than regular phone call, but you still need pay phone fee. Of course, you can try some internet phones like Skype, or instant messengers like Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, these clients can make phone call via internet, and it also cheaper than regular phone. But I still want to search free lunch.

Talkster is a website that provided long distance or international phone call service. It is not like other VoIP service, it makes long distance or international to local phone charge. I do not know how Talkster work, it seems very good for me, because you do not need use computer after you got local phone numbers, you can use your regular phone or cellphone to call your friend.

You do not need register, credit card, prepayment, only you need to do is go to Talkster, put your phone number and country, your calling phone number and country into table. You will get two local phone numbers, one for you, another one for your calling destination. After that, you do not need computer.

First calling seems difficult, at least for me. You need use your local phone number that Talkster gave you, that means you need dial local phone number. After that, you need hold on your phone till it connected destination. It is not easy for most users, because service only offers you 10 seconds to talk to destination caller. It requires your destination caller hang up first, and use a destination local phone number call back to you while you still hang on your phone. Remember, make every calling that need both sites to dial each local phone number.

I tried several times, it works but it is not easy, you need wait a while. The calling quality is good, that makes me a little bit surprise. I do not know how it makes free, I mean you use Talkster phone service is free, you only need pay is your local calling.

Skype Became Wireless

Skype released its mobile phone that called 3 Skypephone. It looks like regular mobile phone, it can do calling, send text message, or take picture (with camera). On the keyboard there has a big Skype button, just press it to start making free calls and send instant messages on Skype. So next time you do not need sit on front PC to use Skype to call your friends, you can carry it to call them anywhere. Call Skype user is free. The main feature: with 3G, a 2-megapixel camera, mp3 player, mobile TV and internet.
According to official site, 3 Skypephone already on market in UK, and some other countries will coming soon, including Australia, Italy, Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, and Ireland.
I did not see U.S on the coming soon list, I am not sure if 3 Skypephone plan on U.S market in the future. I really want see how does it work but the website does say anything in this way.

The nice point is it uses free Wi-Fi or your 3G or GPRS internet data plan instead of costly mobile airtime minutes, so you can save money while you use your cellphone access internet. Only one thing you need be careful, that is you need make sure which cellphone you use, and download right version software for it. I do not have these kind cellphone so I can not say anything about it.

Viatalk is a phone calling service, that allows you use its service to call somebody quick and short time (10 minutes) without any fee. Simple to type your phone number and destination number, then you can talk to your friends or family without PC. It is really good. I think that service only for U.S..

I have introduced a website Jajah,that allows you make phone call to anywhere around the world without software. Now, I found another one myBlueZebra that offers a really simple way to make discounted phone calls all over the world using the Internet without having to purchase any headphones, microphones or having to install any software.
