Does Google launch music search? Yes or no. Yes, it launches with Google China. Since it pulled out web search part in mainland China that cause content filter required by government, Google China still keeps other services there, Google Music is one. It lets you search and download music, but only for Chinese IP users. Take these screenshots below.
If you are outside China, you couldn't use this service. It displays "Music streaming/download services are not available in your region".
But Chinese people can use this service.
