DropTunes is a free web service that offers a media player play music from DropBox. Let me simply explain what is DropBox, it is a web file hosting service, everyone can have 2GB for free, you can put everything including music file there. But, DropBox does not offer media player, so you only download music file, not play it.
DropTunes gives you play music from DropBox. Just use your DropBox ID to sign in with DropTunes, it offers two player version: one based on flash, another one based on HTML5. If you upload music file to DropBox, DropTunes can play it.
